Jurassic World: Dominion
I've seen a few of the early Jurassic Parks, but I haven't seen the later ones. In honesty, I had no desire to see this, but my husband chose the first movie. I, like everyone else, loved the first Jurassic Park, but I didn't care for later films that I saw.
I was surprised that Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern and Sam Neill are still at it. I assumed that it would be a whole new cast. The film was nostalgic. There were lots of nods to the first Jurassic Park movie, but there were numerous plot holes, like where did the people go when they evacuated? (Once you see the movie, you'll understand. I don't think that gives away anything.) The action scenes were good. The dinosaurs were well done, but the series is tired and needs to be retired. I think this movie really deserves 3 stars, but I'm going with 4 because the dinosaurs looked great, and Goldblum is always fun.
